Kinship Cafe does not charge for membership, gatherings, classes, recordings, or new community content. If this work matters to you and you would like to help sustain it, you are welcome to contribute—but you never need to pay to participate fully.
What optional means
Money does not determine belonging.
Core community content and participation remain available to every approved member.
Supporting does not create a more important class of member or a closer place in the conversation.
You are welcome to join, learn, attend, and contribute your voice without contributing money.
Financial support does not buy authority over Kinship Cafe’s direction, ideas, or community.

Choose whichever approach is simplest for you. Both are voluntary, and neither changes what you can access or how fully you can participate.
More than money
Participation is support, too.
Kinship Cafe is sustained by people who bring their attention, curiosity, experience, and care to the conversation. Financial contributions are only one form of support.
- Join a gathering and take part in the conversation.
- Ask a thoughtful question or share something you are learning.
- Welcome a new member and help them find their way.
- Share Kinship Cafe with someone who may value the work.

Do I need to pay to join?
No. Kinship Cafe membership and community content are free.
Does paid support unlock more content?
No. Supporting members do not receive a separate library of core content or better access to the community.
Should I contribute if it creates strain?
No. Please participate freely. Support should never come at the expense of your own wellbeing.
What does support help with?
Contributions help sustain the work involved in hosting gatherings, producing resources, maintaining the community, and sharing Kinship Cafe with others.
